Do you take custom orders?
Yes. Amy Terrill personally handles every custom commission. Email Terrillxo@yahoo.com with your event date, vision, color palette, and any inspiration photos. She responds within 48 hours.
How long does a custom piece take?
Custom hats and fascinators typically take 2–6 weeks depending on complexity. For the Kentucky Derby (May), reach out by February at the latest — spring fills up fast.
How do I care for my hat or fascinator?
Store it in the box it arrived in, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Use a soft, dry cloth for dust. Never use water or cleaning solutions on feathers or crystals. To reshape, steam lightly from a distance and reshape by hand.
What if my piece arrives damaged?
Every piece is carefully packaged and shipped insured. If something arrives damaged, email photos within 48 hours of delivery and we'll make it right — repair or replacement at no cost.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide from Birmingham, Michigan. International rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout.
Can I return or exchange?
Because each piece is handcrafted and many are made to order, we don't accept returns. If there's a fit issue or something isn't right, reach out — Amy wants you to love your piece and will work with you.
How do I know what size hat to order?
Most Derby hats and fascinators are one-size and attach with an elastic band or headband. Where a fedora or structured hat has a specific size, it's listed on the product page.
Can I see pieces in person?
Amy's studio in Birmingham, Michigan is open by appointment. Email to schedule a visit.
Do you do wholesale or trunk shows?
Yes. Blonde CoCo has done trunk shows at the Kentucky Derby Museum and other venues. Email Amy for wholesale inquiries or to book a trunk show at your boutique or event.
